I approach design with curiosity and care, transforming ideas into digital experiences that connect with people in meaningful ways.
Hey! I’m Ryan, a product designer with a computer science background, based in Toronto.
I’m passionate about accessibility, AI, and designing with purpose. My work blends technical fluency with curiosity and empathy, I love diving into research, prototyping with emerging tools, and shaping design systems that make experiences more inclusive and intuitive.
Right now, I’m especially focused on how AI can shape the future of accessibility and design. If you’re exploring similar ideas, I’d love to connect: paulryan229@gmail.com
My path as a researcher has been fueled by asking questions and sharing discoveries.
I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s in Computer Science at the University of Guelph, specializing in HCI and Accessibility. Supported by scholarships, my research and conference papers reflect my commitment to creating technology that is innovative and inclusive.

Beyond design, I find inspiration in travel, art, and the details that often go unnoticed.
When I’m not designing, you’ll usually find me exploring new places, taking photos, or getting lost in art. I have a soft spot for thoughtful storytelling, whether that’s through a camera lens, sketching ideas, or appreciating great design. I also love traveling, trying new foods, and noticing the small details that others might overlook. Here are some moments from Japan to brighten your day!
